![]() ![]() Though the only problem is the way you get it, although pretty common, bastions are kinda hard to raid (even for old players like myself). The idea of having to get one more item to upgrade to netherite would make it way more valuable so I can see the good side. I mean, to be very honest this isn't a bad idea overall. But as it stands this change feels a bit too overwhelming in terms of it's risk. If diamonds are to be given another use I think it would be best to have more uses that aren't going to be carried on the player at all times. For most players this just causes a very steep increase in the cost of netherite armour and makes dying even more overwhelmingly painful than it already was. Many players say this is good to finally have a use for diamonds, or that diamonds were previously useless due to villager trading, but that misses the factor that most players don't use villagers. This doesn't take into account the extra 28 for the armour if you use trims since that feels off topic to this thread, but the point still stands. This also means that dying is even more punishing than it already was, with about 56 diamonds extra assuming 4 armour and 4 tools. I feel like this would be fine if templates weren't consumed on use, as then the cost is the same but still requires hunting out a bastion, but having both makes the item cost skyrocket. This new system takes that and tacks on an extra 28 diamonds just for the armour. With the old system, a full set of netherite armour required 24 diamonds, 4 netherite ingots and however much time getting the right enchantments. However on the flip side I heavily dislike how much excess value this adds to equipment. If you want to contribute, please add your signature with ~~~ at the bottom of this section.I really like how this makes it so you need to hunt out a bastion before you can upgrade to netherite. ![]()

An auto-sleep functionality conserves battery life. Ember’s self-heating coffee mug consists of three main components. The temperature-control ceramic mug can reach and maintain temperatures between 120☏ and 145☏. It’s available in two different sizes, a 10oz. Learn why the Ember smart mug is a must-have for coffee and tea enthusiasts in our hands-on review! What is the Ember Temperature Control Mug? And the Ember self-heating coffee mug is a fantastic solution for keeping your drink at the quintessential temperature. A temperature-control mug can solve this issue. There’s a fine line between tongue-scorching warmth and lukewarm mediocrity. Or, in my case, wait until a loved one watches you microwave the same cup of coffee multiple times in the 10 minutes it takes you to gulp it down, and decides you deserve an upgrade with the Ember Smart Mug.One challenge that coffee and tea drinkers face is finding and maintaining the ideal beverage temperature. But, if you’re someone who knows that tea and coffee have their own sacred temperatures or hate coming back to a tepid drink after briefly leaving it alone, this could make an excellent treat for yourself. If you’re ambivalent about drink temperature, and don’t place a weird premium on it like yours truly, the Ember Smart Mug might not be the gadget you need in your life. That said, those aforementioned bells and whistles make it cost a fair bit more than your average mug. Even without the technological bells and whistles, it’s a welcome addition to my cabinet. It has a smooth, modern design with a matte black finish and pleasant weight. Ember’s mug, on the other hand, looks like a mug I’d buy as just a regular coffee cup. And I do have a Zojirushi tumbler, which reliably keeps my coffee piping hot for hours, but it doesn’t have that homey feel I want when I’m enjoying my java on the couch. With all this tech talk, you might be thinking, She seems to have forgotten that simple thermoses exist. When that time comes, I just place the mug on its charging base, cleverly disguised as a matching coaster, and it juices back up with ease. (I keep mine permanently dialed to the max temperature because it’s the only way I can feel something in the mornings, but to each their own.) The app also notifies me when the mug’s battery is low, which happens after about an hour and a half with the 10-ounce size and 80 minutes with the 14-ounce size. It has a super-simple interface, complete with optimal temperature recommendations for different drinks. I balked at the idea of fiddling with an app just to get a hot drink, but it connects seamlessly to my mug within moments. You can make adjustments (and customize the color of the mug’s LED light) in the Ember app, which syncs with the mug via Bluetooth. In addition to its heating technology, it also features sensors that track how much liquid it’s holding, so the temperature remains consistent while you sip. With a range of 120 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit, the Ember Smart Mug 2 (the latest version of the gadget) uses built-in convection technology to hold your beverage of choice at a precise temperature. Business process automationīusiness process automation uses dedicated workflow automation tools to optimize tasks.įor example, your human resources department might automate the new employee contract approval process in their recruiting app. There are two main kinds of workflow automation: business process automation and robotic process automation. Automating these processes liberates employee time, allowing them to concentrate on more essential tasks. Many organizations have numerous workflows ripe for automation. The system sends the transferred data to the HR lead for approval. The new employee submits paperwork on the website, and the system automatically transfers it into HR's software. So, the revised workflow looks like this: With the appropriate workflow automation software, the new employee's submitted data is automatically transferred to the HR software, eliminating manual data entry. Step 2: Automate specific tasks within the overall workflow.įor instance, in our example, HR can automate manual data input in the second step. Once approved, the software assigns the team leader their task (step 4), which continues sequentially until the entire workflow is complete. Following HR's data input (step 2), the HR lead receives an automatic notification to proceed with step 3. In the context of the above example, once the new employee completes their paperwork (step 1), the workflow software automatically triggers the next task-step 2, assigning it to the HR department. Step 1: Employ workflow automation software to streamline the sequence of tasks. The automation of this process can be achieved by: The office manager prepares the employee's workstation. The team lead devises initial tasks and goals for the new employee. The data is forwarded to the HR lead for approval, who endorses the documents.HR manually enters employee data into their dedicated software. The new employee submits paperwork through the company website.Suppose we consider an example of an employee onboarding process which follows these steps: This software essentially creates a digital replica of your processes, automating some aspects. Workflow automation invariably occurs through workflow management software, terms often used synonymously. The true essence of workflow automation involves digitizing and automating commonplace office tasks-like email dispatch, data entry into software, and task delegation. However, this is a misconception-it's robotic process automation. One might conjure images of mechanized assembly lines after mentioning workflow automation. Workflow automation streamlines mundane, repetitive tasks that traditionally consumed human hours. The 192-hp supercharged four motivates its 3398-pound burden with relative ease, covering the quarter-mile in 15.7 seconds at 90 mph. That brings us inevitably to the question of performance. It's a masterpiece, especially compared with the BMW's large, noisy, and windy cloth sunroof. The glass is treated to block all but 2.2 percent of the sun's ultraviolet radiation, and for full protection, a pair of cloth shades can be deployed electrically. When the roof is open, a large wind-deflector panel in front of the opening tilts up to prevent any buffeting, booming, or cockpit turbulence at speeds up to 90 mph. Two glass panels cover the entire roof the front one can pop up to vent or slide back over the rear one for open-air motoring. The front buckets provide good lateral support, and the chic cloth is a welcome change from today's de rigueur hot-in-summer, cold-in-winter leather (a $1410 option).Īnd then there's the pièce de résistance, an idea that was featured on the 318ti California but is perfected here: the $995 panoramic sliding roof. Seating for four is comfy unless the rear riders are tall of torso or hairdo, in which case the roofline's inch-lower sleekness will present an interference fit. Inside there's a sporty three-nacelle instrument binnacle, a unique three-spoke steering wheel, and genuine aluminum trim. The sports coupe gets a four-banger, while the rest of the C-class (and 3-series) lineup has graduated to sixes.
